Never - not freakin ever! - a bad time! Dennis will help you out at any price range, but they have some exceptional (expensive!) high-end wine and a fantastic number of stellar wines at the around $50, but i had a $30 Barbera that was great! Always books good acts! Some cover, some original. While the motto on their kuzzos says, "Contributing to the delinquency of the niddle-aged." (And I resemble that remark. :) there are always equal amounts ppl half that age chillin out. Damn, just - I really like this place! However... the food at night is... meh. So eat before you come, but come anyway!

Great wine selection, tasty cheese tray and friendly staff

Cool place to hang out, enjoy a nice cold imported beer or a glass of wine, cheese & crackers.

No pretension here — just a nice spot to have a glass of wine or a beer and socialize with some friends. Everything from the family style table to the living room chairs and couches makes it a cozy place to spend some time.

The service and staff here were top notch! Every recommendation on wine and cheese were spot on. The vibe was nice but laid back, and the live music was nice.

This place used to be a gem ... so sad to report it has seriously gone downhill. The wine stewards (?) used to be very pleasant with offering several tastes of their available wines to find one to your liking. This time we were met with a scowl at not liking the first one we were poured. Then upon ordering the “custom cheese tray” we were told to not order the type of cheese we wanted. Consequently we got one we hated, then took it back. After our revised cheese tray was brought out, the owner came out and said that wasn’t ours. He then proceeded to argue with my husband who went in to pay for the tray, and accidentally brushed up against him, to which the owner responded “if you touch me like that again I’m calling the police.” Seriously?! We left with our cheese uneaten and wine still in our glasses. Will not be back!

Came here for the first time with a large group of friends in April and have returned twice since then. Love it. Unique. Funky. Special. The staff are welcoming, funny, and very helpful. The food selection is limited, focused, but spot on. The star here (for us) is the eclectic wine menu. They offer a HUGH array of wines you'll not find elsewhere. Want a cheap $20 bottle? They have it. Looking for a hard-to-find, highly rated, OMG how-the-hell-did-they-find-it wine at a reasonable price. Ask! They'll have something. Atmosphere is casual. Very laid back. Sit inside or out. It doesn't matter. Just a great place to kick back and enjoy great food and excellent wine. This instantly became our new haunt. Will continue returning for years to come!

It was relaxing to sit on the patio and have wine and cheese. We also ordered 2 of the 10" pizzas and they were good too. The waitress told us some suggestions for restaurants and karaoke. They have many different wines and beers.

Always a wonderful place to spend the evening. If your looking for a low key or romantic place to drink your favorite wines, sit on the patio, have a great conversation and listen to some light tunes then this is your place. You can order your own cheese platter, taste and pick your wines. Great chocolates for desert.

Once we asked for help we found out what to do and order food/beer/wine. Nice place, laid back and comfortable. Neighborhood kind of place with a different vibe than Main Street. I would recommend it to people. We drove over since we were coming back from a day off wine hopping. It is walkable from downtown.

All I bought was a beer and a cigar and it cost $35! I know my cigars and the one I grabbed shouldn't have been much more than $10 and a can of Austin East Cider shouldn't be more than $5.

Walking in you're surrounded with a glamorous assortment of wines & cigar rooms to lounge. Large outdoor area is inviting and the sizeable appetizers were such a compliment to our wine. Thanks in large part to the two servers who took the time to guide us through.

Loved the different choices of beer and wines they had to select from!! The cheeses were AMAZING!!!!! Also, the gentleman working there was very nice and helpful.

We stumbled on this spot and love it!!! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The decor is homey and comfortable. We sat on the patio and listened to the live acoustic guitar player. It was cold, but they had fire pits and chimineas there. Was a very enjoyable evening. We might go back tonight.

What a cool place! No wine list, your host will walk you around and describe their selections, or you can tell them the kind of wine you'd like to have and they will suggest and let you taste. The wine-bar food is great -- a simple margarita pizza tastes gourmet. Staff is friendly and well-informed. Oldest wine bar in Texas, so I was told...

It's a great place to drink wine while listening to Live-Music. The location is beautiful as well as cosy and the staff very friendly.

Was there last night with my wife and had a terrible experience. Sat outside and waited for someone there to acknowledge us but that never happened. I went inside bar and was told “you order in here.” I asked for a wine list and young lady stated we don’t have one. “You just tell us what you want and we will get it for you”. Kind of got that feeling that we were bothering them. Finally got a drink and stayed awhile only to listen to a great singer. Didn’t notice an older gentleman come out a few times to check on customers but always seemed to miss us. Won’t ever be back to this bar. Didn’t feel welcomed. Don’t wast your time. This business seems to be a hobby for the owner not a real business.

Oh my gosh we met two totally lovely couples there that were locals. We went during the Wine Festival and I was with my daughter my sister. We had such a great time with them I could show you pictures but I won't!

Great place, it is great to be asked what you what do you like when you walk in. They greeted us with what would you like? And they meant it. Be nice get nice.

This little hidden gem is awesome. Just off Main on Lincoln St. I highly recommend. Incredible staff, wine, beer, stogies. Great atmosphere. Definitely coming back.

Very expensive paid lots for 4 glasses of wine and 2 cigars.

If you’re looking for a good cigar, pass this joint up. They had a whopping 3 cigars to choose from and all were about 15 dollars overpriced. And don’t even get me started on the chick working the bar. Seriously rude and ignorant of state laws.

Great wine bar. We were there last Friday for an event. Everything was nicely done. They had a good wine selection, and nice beer varieties too. Check it out.

Great atmosphere. This is our go-to place when in Fredericksburg - and we go there 4-5 times a year. Great range of wines. Great options for cheese trays. Good sandwiches too. Not a huge food menu, but this is not the place for that. Relaxing outdoor area with live music - cigars are sold and allowed. Don't be in a hurry. Just relax and enjoy your visit. If this isn't your kind of place, go eat brats and drink beer up the street. This is for those who want an alternative to that.

Our hostess Jennifer was awesome. She listened and paired us with our wines spot on and gave truly superb service. Will definitely come back.

Very nice staff and good wine. However we ordered food and it took over an hour to get. The food was delicious once we actually received it. The prices were good too.
